Joe was amazing!
I had a great time at the show on Saturday night, the weather was just perfect! Chico DeBarge was good and sounded great live at Carter Baron, a great venue. But when Donnell Rawlings hit the stage, I must say I was truly impressed. He is truly talented but not very energetic, and I think I would have enjoyed his performance better in a more intimate setting.
I am a fan and have enjoyed his music for years, but wasn't expecting him to be such a great performer. He lit up the stage with some of his oldies but goodies and music from his new CD. He danced all over the stage, and it was truly a great performance! The show ended with a tribute to the late great Michael Jackson, and Donnell Rawlings and Chico performed No Guarantee. Awesome show!
